Greetings and Blessings to All!

First let me say I am so grateful I have been led to this site! A bit of background, I am a recent convert to the Red Road, I was led to this path for a purpose but I don't know exactly why yet. I believe it has helped me to be a better person and probably saved my life already. At any rate, I am not asking for myself but for my family. My husband had routine eye surgery on Aug 27 which resulted in complications that have left him with double vision, unable to work, drive, or even walk down stairs without falling down. Fortunately we have my meager retirement to live on until something gets resolved with his eye. The doctors are talking about more surgery in about Feb. or March hopefully to correct his vision as good as they can. My fourteen year old Daughter fell into gang activities and I had to send her to live with her biological father in OK to get her out of the bad environment, since we can't afford to move. I miss her terribly as I have not been without her in fourteen years! It breaks my heart that she will not be at home for Christmas.

My husband (Brad) is very worried about how he is going to provide for his family, (the doctors have said that he may never have normal vision in fact to expect a degree of permanent impairment) and this comes out in anger. I truly believe he is under the influence of the thirteenth moon (he isn't convinced there is a Great Spirit, and when he does acknowledge Him husband wonders why Spirit hates him) and I pray for him constantly.

I ask only that yall please pray for us in whatever manner you are led to. If any of you have any words of wisdom or are led to do so please feel free to email me. I cannot let this turn of events destroy my family. But its getting a little heavy for me to carry by myself.

Thank yall so much for listening. It is a great comfort to find help on the Red Road. I pray for each one of you and your families during this holiday season.

Dear Friends, Family Acquaintances, and People I do not even know:

My family needs your prayers! We do not suffer any great health malady, but we are under great hardship. Since the loss of my job 6 months ago our finances and situation have become dire. My husband works outside and due to our weather the last 6 weeks, has not been able to make a full week's paycheck.

The economy is so bad for everyone, jobs are very hard to find, especially in our rural area of Northern Georgia. So far we have been blessed, our landlord is an angel and even though we have not been able to pay the rent, she has told us that we will pull out of it and be able to catch up; we have managed to keep our utilities on and our vehicles insured. Though we have not had 'complete' meals, we have been able to eat.

We thank the Lord everyday, that we are not homeless. We thank the Lord for the good fortune we have in friends and family and have asked for strength to get through this trying time, we have also prayed for those less fortunate. Now we ask that you pray for us, pray that we continue to be strong, keep faith, and endure, pray that I find work soon, and hopefully find work close to home, For it is hard to keep the faith and prayers alone!

My husband, my children, and I all thank you for including us in your prayers.
