Cherokee National Museum
Located in the capital of the Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah, OK,
the objective of this facility is the preservation of the heritage
of the Cherokee. They maintain a living museum at
The Tsa-La-Gi Ancient Village.
Edward S. Curtis Collection (Library of Congress)
The Library of Congress holds many of the more than 1600 photographs
of North American Indians produced by Edward Curtis during the early 20th
century.

Museum of Indian Culture at Allentown, PA, is a nonprofit all-volunteer
organization. It is still operated by local Lenape descendants, who
designed their Web site to be friendly for elementary school students.

Makah Cultural and Research Center
Located in Neah Bay, WA, housing a collection of artifacts 500 years
old from a mudslide buried village, this museum is recognized as the nation's
finest tribal museum.
Mid-America All-Indian Center Museum
This museum in Witchita, KS, features permanent and rotating
exhibits of both traditional artifacts and contemporary art depicting
Native American cultures.
The Minnesota History Center
The Minnesota History Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, has a permanent Ojibwe
wild rice exhibit. There are branch museums at the Lower Sioux Reservation in
Morton, Minnesota, and on the Mille Lacs Indian Reservation in Cass Lake,
Minnesota.
The Museum
This is a neat, easily navigated site, holding interesting and important
information. Founded in 1956, it
serves as a repository for sacred relics, historical artifacts, genealogical records
and the history, folklore and traditions of the Muskogee Creek
Indian community of North Florida.

The Virtual Keeping House
The Keeping House Project, maintained by The Saskatchewan Indian Cultural Centre (SICC)
is "a step towards the future for showcasing our First Nations creative talents."
Woodland Cultural Centre Museum
This Centre, started in 1972, and managed by First Nations has
over twenty-five thousand artifacts.
